What if you could finish a deep, tactical roguelite run in the time it takes to make a coffee?

We're incredibly excited to announce that our new game, Soltura, is officially live and available to play for free, right in your browser. Soltura is our answer to a simple question: can a dungeon crawl be both strategically satisfying and incredibly fast?

What is Soltura?

At its heart, Soltura is a supercharged version of the classic solitaire roguelike, Scoundrel. Players are presented with a dungeon of 1rooms filled with monsters represented by playing cards. Your goal is simple: use your weapons (the diamonds) to defeat monsters (clubs and spades), heal with hearts, and not just survive, but conquer.

We didn't just want to make a digital version of a classic. We wanted to inject it with high-speed, arcade energy.

The Art of the Chain

The key to mastering Soltura isn't just surviving—it's about flair. This is where the "Art of the Chain" comes in. You can defeat any monster with a weapon of a higher rank, but the real skill lies in chaining together monsters of an equal or lower rank. Each link in the chain builds a score multiplier, turning a simple dungeon crawl into a high-stakes, score-attack puzzle. Do you play it safe and take out the big enemy, or risk your health to build a massive 10x chain?

Mischief and Benevolence

To help you on your quest (or get you into more trouble), you have the Jokers. We split them into two distinct types, giving you a powerful choice when one appears:

• The Benevolent Joker: A friend in the darkness. It can heal you, buff your weapon, or let you peek at the top cards of the deck to plan your next move.

• The Mischievous Joker: A chaotic force. It might let you flee a deadly fight, swap a monster for another card, or force a blind draw for a high-risk, high-reward play.

One Dungeon, You vs. The World

For those who crave competition, we built the Daily Dungeon. Everyone in the world gets the exact same shuffled deck and dungeon layout for 24 hours. It's the ultimate test of skill—no RNG, just pure strategy. Climb the global leaderboard and prove you're the best dungeoneer for the day.

We built Soltura to be incredibly accessible. A complete, winning run takes about 70 seconds, making it perfect for a quick break or for hours of "just one more try."
